This collection relates to loneliness, isolation and solitude. Isolation is a growing concern for society. A growing and ageing population along with changes in communication methods (smart phones, home shopping, drive thrus, GPS, etc) makes it very easy to be be alone and withdraw from society. Today it is very easy to live without human interaction.

The goal of this recording was highlight growing concerns relating to isolation. To do this I made the recordings without any human interaction. Vocal recordings were sent to me via text. Electronic recordings were made in a solitary space alone and without interaction from others. Automated machines were also used.
