The focus of this collection is on the separation process of the soul from the physical body at the end of life. The subject of death and dying is very much avoided in the western world although some groups integrate knowledge - and practice for the event in advance. To quote the Dalai Lama, “Awareness of death is the very bedrock of the path. Until you have developed this awareness, all other practices are useless.”
